Delete your MachPilot account

This page explains how to have an account on the MachPilot app, the app published on Google Play as MachPilot by KinetixIQ Technologies, deleted together with the data that goes with it.
Who can ask
- A business owner can ask for the whole business to be deleted: the owner's account, every driver sign-in, and all of the business's records, photos and locations.
- A driver can ask for their own sign-in to be deleted.
- Anyone whose details an owner has entered, such as a site engineer, can ask the owner to remove them, or write to us.
How to ask
- A business owner, in the app: open Profile and tap Delete my account. We receive the request at once.
- Anyone, by email: write to support@machpilot.in from the email address on the account, or with the mobile number on it, with the subject "Delete my MachPilot account". A driver asks this way, since a driver's sign-in is made by their owner and is not deleted from the app; their owner can also remove it.
We may ask you to confirm the request so that nobody else can delete your account. Download any bills or reports you want to keep before you ask.
What is deleted
For a business: the owner's account and sign-in, every driver's sign-in, all drivers' details and documents, sites, machines, vehicles, work records, challans, bills, payments, expenses, messages, photos and location records.
For a driver: their sign-in and contact details, documents and photos. The work they did and the pay they received stay in their owner's records, under their name only, because the owner has to keep them as business and wage records.
What we keep, and for how long
- Receipts and payment records for plans bought for MachPilot are kept for 8 years, because tax law requires it.
- A record that the request was made and carried out, without the deleted data.
- Copies in backups are overwritten within 30 days of the deletion.
How long it takes
We carry out a request within 30 days of receiving it and tell you when it is done.
